10 Questions with Isadora Brigido
1. You have explored both modeling and photography. How did your journey into these two creative worlds begin?
My journey began with a love for visual expression. I was initially drawn to the beauty of photography and the emotions that images can convey. Modeling allowed me to experience that creative process from the other side of the camera. Over time, both disciplines became important parts of my identity, allowing me to express myself in different but complementary ways.
2. As someone who works both in front of and behind the camera, how do these two roles influence each other?
Being a model helps me understand what it feels like to be in front of the lens, while photography allows me to understand the vision behind the image. Each role makes me more aware of composition, emotion, and communication. I believe this dual perspective helps me connect more deeply with the creative process.
3. What inspires your photography, and how would you describe your artistic style?
I find inspiration in people, light, textures, architecture, and everyday moments. I am drawn to images that evoke emotion and tell a story. My style continues to evolve as I experiment with different perspectives, but I always try to create photographs that feel authentic and visually meaningful.
4. Fashion and photography are powerful forms of self-expression. What does personal style mean to you?
For me, personal style is a reflection of who you are and how you see the world. It is not simply about following trends; it is about expressing your personality through clothing, movement, and attitude. I love the freedom to experiment while remaining connected to my own identity.
5. When you are behind the camera, what do you look for in a photograph that makes it special?
I look for emotion, authenticity, and a certain sense of connection. Sometimes the most beautiful image is not the most technically perfect one, but the one that captures a genuine moment. I love photographs that make people pause and feel something.
6. What has modeling taught you about confidence, identity, and self-expression?
Modeling has taught me to embrace my individuality and trust myself. It has helped me become more comfortable expressing different emotions and exploring different sides of my personality. Most importantly, it has shown me that confidence comes from accepting who you are rather than trying to fit into someone else’s expectations.
7. How do you approach a creative project when you have complete freedom to express your vision?
I begin with an idea or a feeling that I want to explore. From there, I think about the mood, lighting, styling, and overall atmosphere. I enjoy experimenting and allowing unexpected moments to become part of the final result. For me, creativity is a process of discovery.
8. What challenges have you encountered while balancing modeling and photography, and how have they helped you grow?
Balancing both roles requires time, discipline, and the ability to shift perspectives. Each has its own demands, but they also complement each other beautifully. The challenges have taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of continuing to learn and evolve.
9. What are your creative ambitions for the future? Are there particular projects or collaborations you dream of pursuing?
I want to continue developing my vision in both modeling and photography, working with inspiring creatives, and exploring new artistic directions. I am especially interested in projects that allow me to tell meaningful stories through images and challenge me to see things differently.
10. What would you say to someone who wants to pursue a creative career but is afraid to take the first step?
I would tell them to trust their curiosity and give themselves permission to begin. You do not need to have everything figured out from the start. Keep creating, stay open to learning, and do not compare your journey to anyone else’s. Your individuality is your greatest strength.
